Todd was born and raised in San Jose, CA. He grew up going to church but it wasn’t until the summer before his senior year of high school in 1985 that the gospel became truly real in his life when he put his faith in Jesus Christ. He has received degrees from San Jose Christian College, San Jose State University, and Trinity Theological Seminary. After a brief stint working for a parachurch ministry in Dallas, TX, Todd returned to San Jose to become a pastor in November of 1995 and has served at 3 churches prior to Redeemer as a youth pastor, associate pastor, and most recently as lead pastor of Orchard Community Church in Campbell, CA. During his time as lead pastor, he received his DMin from The Master’s Seminary where he met Pastor Jon Benzinger. This friendship led to Todd being called to join the staff at Redeemer during the summer of 2022. Todd has been married to Lisa since 1997 and they have three amazing kids: Rylie, Noelle, and Trevor. Favorite verse: Philippians 1:6. Todd enjoys reading, movies, and the San Francisco Giants.
